Watch your lips... 28th November, 2014
"Those who are careful about what they say protect their lives, but whoever speaks without thinking will be ruined" Proverbs 13:3 NCV.
Be mindful of whatever that comes out from your mouth because as Mathew 15:11 tells us that "It is not what goes into the mouth of a man that destroys him, but rather what comes out from his mouth is what destroys him.
Brethren! let us try to keep our lips close a little as followers of Christ. God is sending a message across to everyone of us. Let us stop talking too much else we would speak against our creator.
If you and I desist from our evil ways and ask the Holy spirit to make us whole again, things will go according to whatever we want it to be.
Believers, what we need to understand is no man has ever died for you and I except Christ Jesus. It is because of you and I that Christ came to die such a shameful death so our sins may be forgiven and also to get a second chance in His fathers Kingdom but with this ungodly attitude can we have that chance in the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ?
Has the blood Jesus shared for us been beneficial to you and I as we call ourselves Christians?
The church has now turned into a marketplace. If the church turns to give back to the society, things wouldn't be in a mess like this. Poor and susceptible people are filled in our churches. They make contribution everyday regardless of however they come by money but has the church ever thought of them in just a single day?
The bible tells us clearly in Matthew 25:35-40 and I quote " For I was hungry, and you gave me food, I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, i was in prison and you came to me.' Then the righteous will answer him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you as a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you? And the King will answer them, Truly, I say to, as you did it to one of least of these my brothers, you did it to me". unquote...
Yet we call ourselves Christians...
Jesus is coming soon!
How well have you and I prepared to meet him? What is our hope as Christians? Like every child looking up Christmas eve, so are Christians, we are also expecting the second home from our creator because as we are at home in this body on earth, we can't be with the Lord;
Paul is telling us this in 2 Corinthians 5:6-10 "So we are of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body, we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord. So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.
Let us all turned back to Christ Jesus because in Him is Life. Don't make yourself too busy for material things it is stated in Matthew 24:35' that "Heaven and earth shall pass away...
Jesus is ready to accept you back no matter where you have gotten to in life. Matter the sins you have committed he is ready to accept you and make you his own and whole again!
God bless you all who are reading this.
I pray, O' Lord God, Author of Life and Source of Eternal Life, move the hearts of all our public officials especially our President, to fulfill their responsibilities worthily and well to all those entrusted to their care. Help them in their special leadership roles, to extend the mantle of protection to the most vulnerable, especially we the defenseless citizens. Guide all public officials by your wisdom and grace to cease supporting any law that fails to protect the fundamental good that is human life itself, which is a gift from God and parents. You are the Protector and Defender of the lives of this our nation. Change the hearts of those who compromise the call to protect and defend life. I pray that you show them the way again especially all those who are lost from the truth and your path O' Lord. Bring our nation to the values that have made us a great nation, a society that upholds the values of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all through Christ, Our Lord. Amen.
Requirements of a Godly Influence... 8th October, 2014
Requirements of a Godly Influence
Daniel 1:1-17
Every believer has the responsibility to be a godly influence. Through our example and testimony, we are to help people gain a better understanding of Jesus Christ and the way to follow Him. From what the Bible tells us about the prophet Daniel, he was a man who used his influence wisely. His consistent witness impacted not just his friends but also four kings and their kingdoms.
In all likelihood, very few of us will have opportunity to influence kings. But our example can have impact in a workplace or neighborhood, or even across generations.
Take your time and read through each message and be inspired.
